TANGERANG, INTERNASIONALPOS.COM.
The Tangerang City Environmental Agency (DLH) is reluctant to provide information or explanations regarding alleged discrepancies and reduced work volumes on two projects at the Rawa Kucing Landfill in 2025.
This is because it has been more than a month since the Confirmation/Clarification letters were submitted, but there has been no visible good faith from the Tangerang City DLH to provide information or explanations regarding the implementation of the two projects.
The Head of the Public Policy and Development Observer Network (JPKPP), Juara Simanjuntak, revealed this to reporters in Tangerang on Wednesday (March 4, 2026).
He stated that his agency had submitted a Confirmation/Clarification Letter to the DLH dated January 19, 2026.
However, to date, the DLH has not provided any information or explanation. The DLH has instead deferred to the contractor.
“So, it’s not like this, sir. We can’t explain.
However, we’ve encouraged the contractor to provide an explanation.
The problem is, they apparently don’t have your number to contact,” said Juara Simanjuntak on Wednesday (March 4, 2026), quoting what a Tangerang City Environmental Agency employee told him on Tuesday (February 24, 2026).
He said the two projects in question were “Fencing Construction at the Rawa Kucing Landfill” worth Rp 1,591,636,000, carried out by PT. LAMTORUS JAYA KONSTRUKSI, and the Rawa Kucing Landfill Drainage Construction project, worth Rp 2,143,129,118, carried out by CV. VINA JAYA.
“In our analysis, these two projects have the potential to cause state losses of Rp 300 million each,” he concluded.
The Tangerang City Environmental Agency has not yet been able to confirm this matter.
