The discovery of the body began with the suspicion of a motorcyclist who saw a group of monitor lizards gathered under the bridge.
Upon closer inspection, a human body was found at the scene.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim is suspected of being murdered.
Two suspected perpetrators have been arrested: Private Y (19), who is believed to be the victim’s boyfriend, and his colleague, Private Z.
Both are members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
The two suspects are currently undergoing intensive questioning by Denpom XIV/3 Kendari.
