The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Neglasari Police has successfully uncovered a suspected aggravated theft case in the Bandara Mas Warehouse area, Selapajang Jaya Village, Neglasari District, Tangerang City.
The perpetrator of the copper AC pipe theft is now under police custody.
If he resists arrest, he will be shot in the leg.
This case was uncovered based on a police report dated December 11, 2025.
The complainant in this case is Fendy (45), a private employee from West Jakarta.
According to statements from witnesses Robi (39) and Miftahul Janah (38), police received information about suspicious activity at the warehouse.
The incident allegedly occurred on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at approximately 9:33 PM WIB.
At that time, an operational team led by the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, Inspector Azis Al Rais, S.H.
While conducting a search operation and passing through a warehouse area, the team received a report of a theft in Block A9 No. 15-16.
Upon arrival at the location, officers found a man with the initials RJT (28), a resident of Selapajang Jaya.
During initial questioning, Reza allegedly admitted to taking several items, including air conditioning copper pipe components, from the warehouse.
Police secured evidence in the form of one roll of air conditioning copper pipe, 21 pieces of large air conditioning copper pipe, and 18 pieces of small air conditioning copper pipe.
18 pieces of foam used to wrap the air conditioning copper pipe, two scissors, two pliers, one ring wrench, one black backpack, and two gloves (green and blue).
The total loss suffered by the complainant is estimated at IDR 4,000,000.
According to initial information, the perpetrator allegedly used tools such as pliers, scissors, a ring wrench, and a screwdriver to commit the crime.
The perpetrator and all evidence were then secured at the Neglasari Police Station for further investigation.
Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Dr. Raden Muhammad Jauhari, SH, SIK, MSi, expressed his appreciation for the successful patrol by the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim), which led to the arrest of the perpetrator of the AC copper pipe theft.
