A massive multi-purpose vehicle (MBG) struck dozens of students at Kalibaru 01 Elementary School, Cilincing, North Jakarta. The students were attending class outside of class at 9 a.m. on December 11, 2025.
The video shows the vehicle going into a parking lot at high speed and hitting students sitting on the school field.
It’s suspected that the MBG’s profits were used to purchase operational vehicles, but unfortunately, it also hit innocent children.

Victims were left lying on the field, struck by the dashboard and run over by the car without license plates. The victims were so panicked that they were rushed to the hospital after being hit by the MBG.
The driver of the car was apprehended by police on Thursday (December 11, 2025), at around 9:20 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). A number of police officers were present at the scene. The Inafis team was conducting identification and documentation at the scene.
Meanwhile, the field inside the school where the crime scene occurred was cordoned off. The white car that hit the students was located under the basketball hoop.
Brake marks were visible on the field, visible from the entrance gate about 4 meters in the direction where the car last stopped.
There were no apparent classroom activities at the school. The school, which had previously been bustling with students, was now deserted.
Police processed the crime scene of the multi-purpose vehicle that hit several students at SDN Kalibaru 01 Cilincing, North Jakarta. The car was secured by police.
“The driver has been apprehended,” said Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto. Budi Hermanto added that North Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief Senior Commissioner Erick Frendriz was also at the scene to handle the situation.
The current priority is rescuing the victims.
This incident was captured on amateur video and circulated on social media. The circulating video shows a scene of panic inside the school.
Students and teachers screamed hysterically. Several students and teachers were seen looking under the car, suspecting someone was stuck underneath.
“Oh my God, what happened to the minivan driver? Oh my God, help him, oh my God!” shouted the voice recording the video. As of this writing, no information was available on the number of injured victims.
One student was seen covered in blood, while the teachers were distracted.
