The victim, identified as M (M/19), was found deceased at around 2:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

A fisherman who was previously reported to have fallen from a fishing boat in the Cimanceri River, Selatip Hamlet, Lontar Village, Kemiri District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.
Was finally found by personnel from the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office and the Joint Search and Rescue Team on Thursday (January 29th).
The victim, identified as M (M/19), was found deceased at around 2:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
He was found approximately 800 meters from the scene. He was immediately evacuated and handed over to his family.
“The victim has been found and is currently undergoing evacuation and handover to his family,” said Desiana Kartika Bahari, S.E., M.H., QGIA., QIA., Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office, who served as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) for the SAR operation.
The search effort was conducted by dividing the team into several search areas, including a search using rubber boats from the scene to the Lontar PLTU Dam, a distance of approximately 4 kilometers,.
A search using fishing boats from the scene to Cangkir Island, a distance of approximately 5 kilometers, and visual monitoring by land along the riverbanks.
Dozens of joint SAR personnel were deployed in the search for the victim, consisting of the Jakarta SAR Office, the Tangerang Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
The Mauk Fire Department Post, the Mauk Police, the Tangerang City Police Water Police, the Mauk Military District Command (Koramil).
The Mauk Navy Post, the Banten Potential Forum, the Lontar PLTU, as well as fishermen and local residents.
Previously, on Tuesday (January 27th) at around 10:30 PM WIB, the victim and a friend were in a hut near the Cimanceri River.
The two then intended to board a boat due to the rain and a leak in the hut. However, witnesses saw the victim and his friend slip and fall into the river.
The victim’s friend was successfully rescued after being swept away, while the victim could not be rescued and was declared missing.
So a search operation was carried out by the Joint SAR Team until the victim was finally found.
