The Banten Provincial Government remains committed to improving the quality of public services through cross-agency synergy.
Banten Governor Andra Soni welcomed the strategic steps taken by the Banten Provincial Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services, to expand its service reach to the public.
This was conveyed by Governor Andra Soni during an audience with the Head of the Banten Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, and staff at the Banten Provincial State Building, Serang City, Monday (January 19, 2026).
The meeting discussed a number of strategic agendas, ranging from preparations for the commemoration of International Immigration Day to efforts to strengthen immigration services in Banten Province.
One of the main points of discussion was the plan to build a new immigration service office in Serang City.
“We welcome the various programs presented by the Banten Immigration Office.
In principle, bringing immigration services closer to the public will have a significant positive impact on the ease and speed of public services,” said Andra Soni.
The Governor assessed that the planned construction of a service office in the capital of Banten Province is a concrete step in bringing the government closer to the people.
He hopes that this facility will support an increase in the quality of public services in Banten Province.
”We mentioned earlier regarding the plan to build a service office in Serang City.
We certainly fully support this to make it easier for the people of Banten to handle immigration administration,” he added.
Furthermore, Andra Soni emphasized the importance of synergy between institutions in the Banten region.
He believes that solid collaboration between government agencies, both central and regional, is key to accelerating regional development.
“Synergy and collaboration are essential.
With strong cooperation, we can ensure that every government program runs optimally and provides real benefits to the people of Banten,” concluded Andra Soni.
