Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, stated that the management and utilization of sectoral data is a crucial foundation for supporting strategic decision-making within the regional government.

Therefore, he encouraged integrated data management and utilization to accelerate the government’s digital transformation.

Regent Maesyal made this statement while opening the 2025 Tangerang Regency Sectoral Statistics Dissemination event at the Multipurpose Building (GSG) of the Tigaraksa Regency Government Center (Puspemkab) on Tuesday (11/11/25).

The event was organized by the Tangerang Regency Government.

“Integrated data utilization is key to accelerating the government’s digital transformation. Every policy and development program must be based on valid and accountable data,” said Regent Maesyal in his remarks.

He stated that all regional government agencies are required to adapt to the new paradigm of data-based governance and digital technology.

In the current era of digital governance, the implementation of One Data Indonesia (SDI) at the regional level is a fundamental necessity.

According to him, data management and storage now play a significant role in formulating more targeted public policies.

“SDI is not just a program, but a system that ensures the availability and integration of government data,” he explained.

He further stated that the Tangerang Regency Government continues to strengthen SDI implementation through various policies and strategic initiatives.

This step is part of the regional government’s commitment to providing a more integrated data system that can be optimally utilized by all regional government agencies.

This Sectoral Statistics Dissemination activity is also an important part of the coaching process for regional agencies to produce high-quality, valid, and accountable data.

“This activity is a concrete effort to eliminate sectoral egos and build an integrated and easily accessible data system,” he said.

He also emphasized the important role of regional agencies as data producers in maintaining the validity and consistency of the sectoral data they produce.

He hopes this activity will further strengthen coordination and collaboration between agencies in supporting evidence-based policy.

“Every policy must be supported by valid and accurate data. Through this activity, I hope to instill a new spirit to accelerate digital transformation within the Tangerang Regency Government,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo), Diyan Mayang Sari.

Stated that this dissemination activity is an important means to raise awareness among regional officials regarding the importance of integrated and high-quality sectoral data in supporting regional development.

“Through this dissemination activity, we want to strengthen the commitment of all regional officials to increase their awareness of the importance of data.

Accurate, consistent, and integrated data will form the basis for formulating targeted development policies,” Mayang said.

According to her, the integration of data systems and applications between regional officials is a strategic step towards realizing effective and efficient digital governance.

To date, 110 applications have been integrated, consisting of 54 government applications and 56 public service applications.

With the 2025 Sectoral Statistics Dissemination, Mayang hopes the Tangerang Regency Government will demonstrate a strong commitment to accelerating the realization of transparent, efficient, and data-driven governance.
