JAKARTA, INTERNASIONALPOS.COM.
Recently, information has been circulating on the TikTok platform about an account spreading the hoax “Free Land BPN” in Jakarta, Thursday (August 21st).
The account uploaded a video claiming to offer free land certificate and title transfer services simply by clicking the link “daftarsekarang-v11.infokuresmidotcom” in the account’s bio.
The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) confirmed that this information is false.
There is no official program offering free land certification or title transfers, as claimed by the unofficial account.
The Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau, Harison Mocodompis, urged the public to be wary of social media accounts with unknown sources. “We’ve seen a lot of TikTok accounts circulating under the name @bpn_tanahgratis.
Therefore, the public is urged not to be influenced by unofficial social media accounts spreading claims such as ‘Free Land for BPN.’
Official information and services can only be obtained through the Ministry’s official channels, namely the atrbpn.go.id website and our official social media accounts,” he emphasized when met at the Ministry of ATR/BPN Office in Jakarta on Tuesday (August 19, 2025).
He emphasized that the circulating misleading content not only causes confusion but also has the potential to be misused for fraudulent purposes.
“Fake accounts impersonating ATR/BPN can harm the public and undermine public trust in the institution.
Therefore, we urge the public to always verify information through official channels,” said Harison Mocodompis.
Harison Mocodompis explained that the government is currently intensifying the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program as an effort to provide legal certainty for community land throughout Indonesia.
Through PTSL (Complete Land Registration System), the public can obtain land certificates through a simple, fast, and affordable process, in accordance with statutory regulations.
PTSL is one of the National Priority Programs continuously implemented by the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
“If the public would like official information regarding land registration, please contact the local Land Office or monitor information through the official ATR/BPN channels.
Currently, the government is accelerating the issuance of land certificates through the PTSL program, but the procedures are clear and do not involve personal accounts on social media,” said Harison Mocodompis.
The Ministry of ATR/BPN is asking the public to actively report any suspicious social media accounts using agency names.
This is an important step to prevent the spread of hoaxes that could harm the public.
To obtain accurate land and spatial planning information, the public can access the official channel of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, namely X (x.com/kem_atrbpn).
Instagram (instagram.com/kementerian.atrbpn/), Facebook Fanpage (facebook.com/kementerianATRBPN), YouTube (youtube.com/KementerianATRBPN), TikTok (tiktok.com/@kementerian.atrbpn).
as well as the websites atrbpn.go.id and ppid.atrbpn.go.id. Additionally, the public can submit complaints via WhatsApp Complaints at 0811-1068-0000.
The public is encouraged to be more vigilant against the spread of hoaxes and only trust information sourced from official channels of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
