Tangerang Regent Inaugurates Al Wustho Mosque in Taman Buah 2 Kutabumi Housing Complex

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid conducted a Friday (Jumling) tour and inaugurated the Al Wustho Mosque in RW 15, Taman Buah 2 Kutabumi Housing Complex, Pasar Kemis District, and performed Friday prayers in congregation on Friday (11/14/25).
In his remarks, the Regent expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the establishment of the Al Wustho Mosque as a more comfortable.
Place of worship and a center for religious and social activities for residents of RW 15, Taman Buah 2, Kutabumi Village.
“A mosque is not only a place for prayer, but also a center for education and community development, as well as a platform for strengthening the values of brotherhood,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He also invited all residents and administrators of the Al Wustho Mosque Community Service (DKM) to work together to maintain and prosper the mosque so that it can provide the widest possible benefits to the community.
“I hope the Al Wustho Mosque can become a place where generations with noble morals, knowledge, and strong social awareness are born.
Let’s make this mosque prosperous together,” he urged.
He added that the congregational Friday prayers are an effort to bring the government closer to the community and strengthen synergy between the local government, religious leaders, and all elements of society.
“Development in Tangerang Regency is not only about infrastructure, but also mental and spiritual development.
This aligns with our vision: a Glorious Tangerang, advanced, prosperous, empowered, and religious,” he concluded.
He also hoped that the inauguration of the Al Wustho Mosque would serve as a shared momentum to further strengthen togetherness.
Increase religious activities and social awareness, and make the mosque a center for community development.
On this occasion, the Regent handed over Rp 20 million in assistance from Baznas (National Zakat Agency) to the Al Wustho Mosque Community Service (DKM).
“Hopefully, this assistance in the form of religious facilities from Baznas can be utilized optimally.
Thank you to Baznas Tangerang Regency for continuing to collaborate with the government in regional development,” he concluded.
