The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) held the Commemoration of the Isra Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in 1446 H / 2025 M at the Tangerang Regency Level at the Al-Amjad Grand Mosque, Tangerang Regency Government Center (Puspemkab), Wednesday (5/2/2025).

In his remarks, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Tangerang Regency, Soma Atmaja reminded the importance of commemorating the Isra Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a momentum for strengthening and reflecting spiritualism amidst the rapid development of modern culture.

“Even though we have entered the month of Sya’ban and will soon welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the momentum of the Isra Mi’raj commemoration remains relevant.

For us to use as a reminder and reflection in improving the quality of our faith, piety, and practice of our worship to Allah SWT,” said Soma.

According to him, the commemoration of Isra Mi’raj is not just a tradition.

But the opportunity to reflect on the spiritual journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW taught the importance of closeness to Allah SWT.

“This great event should strengthen the faith and piety of Muslims, and teach noble values ​​in everyday life, both in national and state life,” he said.
