The government is preparing the 2025 Economic Package and Labor Absorption (8+4+5 program).
This was conveyed by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto after attending a limited meeting chaired by President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday (September 15, 2025).
Acceleration Programs in 2025, Internship program for university graduates, up to 1 year: target first phase beneficiaries 20,000 people
Expansion of Government-Paid Income Tax (DTP) for workers in the tourism sector: target 552,000 workers.
Food assistance of 10 kg of rice (2 months): target 18.3 million beneficiary families (KPM)
Assistance with JKK and JKM contributions for non-wage workers (BPU) – online transportation driver partners, motorcycle taxi drivers, drivers, logistics couriers: target 731,361 people.
Additional service benefit program (MLT) for housing under the BPJS Ketenagakeraja: target 1,050 units Cash-for-Work (CW) programs: target 609,465 people
Acceleration of PP28 deregulation (Integration of the K/L System & Digital RDTR into OSS): target 50 regions (2025) and 300 regions (2026).
Urban programs: increase Housing quality and provision of space for the gig economy
Programs to Continue in 2026, Extension of the 0.5% Final Income Tax (PPh Final) benefit period for MSME taxpayers until 2029 and adjustment of the recipients of the 0.5% Final Income Tax (PPh Final) for MSME taxpayers.
