The commemoration of the birth (Mawlid) of the Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)—marking the year 1448 Hijri/2026 AD—was held in a lively yet solemn atmosphere on Saturday, September 29, 2026.
At Al Mu’awanah Mosque, located at Jalan Kisamaun No. 175, Sukasari Urban Village, Tangerang District, Tangerang City.
In his sermon during the event, Habib Muhammad Maliki Bin Abdullah Alakaff stated that for us Muslims.
Not a single day should pass without emulating the etiquette and character of the Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
This is done to attain the pleasure of the Divine Lord, and it is never too late to improve oneself.
“The Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet of the End Times; he is a role model whose truthfulness is undeniable. It is he who guides all of humanity toward a brilliant path.
Forever illuminated by the light of Islam. And it was through his struggle that humanity rose from the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) into the bright path illuminated by the light of Islam,” added Habib Muhammad Maliki Bin Abdullah Alakaff.
To commemorate and honor the birth of this GREAT and NOBLE HUMAN BEING—the creation most cherished and beloved by the Almighty— We, and specifically the congregation of Al Mu’awanah Mosque.

Remarked on the extraordinary contributions the Great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has made to all of humanity across the globe.
Therefore, it is only fitting that we, as his followers, always remember him and strive with all our might to practice the teachings he imparted.
“Praise be to God, the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday (Maulid) for the year 1448 Hijriah was a success, with virtually no shortcomings.
God willing, future commemorations will be even more successful and improved,” added H. Usman Dja’far Assegaf.
“One way to demonstrate our love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is by always commemorating the day of his birth.
The Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) represents a profound tribute to him, and we should take pride in this significant occasion,” stated H. Usman Djafar Assegaf.
He further noted that the Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)—observed annually on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal—is not meant to be marked by frivolous or unproductive festivities. Rather.
The commemoration serves as a means to deepen the love of the Muslim community for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
