The Banten High Prosecutor’s Office held a ceremony commemorating World Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA) 2025 with the theme “ERADICATE CORRUPTION FOR THE PROSPERITY OF THE PEOPLE” on Friday (December 12th).

“Because corruption can drain the Banten Provincial Budget,” said Rahman PS, SE,.ME,.Dr., a lecturer in Banten.
The theme emphasized that eradicating corruption is not merely a legal matter, but a fundamental effort to ensure that all state resources are utilized for the welfare of the people.
The ceremony was officiated by the Head of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office, Bernadeta Maria Erna Elastiyani, S.H., M.H., accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office, Ardito Muwardi, S.H., M.H.
As well as the Assistants, Coordinators, Heads of Administrative Affairs, and all employees of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office.
In the message of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, read by Erna, it was emphasized that corruption is a real threat.
Data shows that the total potential national financial loss to the state is estimated to reach around IDR 279.9 trillion by 2024.
Therefore, the Attorney General demands that all levels of the Prosecutor’s Office implement professional and integrity-based law enforcement.
Strategically, focusing on restoring economic sovereignty and state assets, not simply imprisoning perpetrators.
He also urged all Attorney Generals to avoid conflicts of interest and uphold discipline.
He emphasized that eradicating corruption is a moral responsibility towards the future of the nation, with integrity and professionalism as the main pillars of the Prosecutor’s Office.
In line with this mandate, the Special Crimes Division (Pidsus) of the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office successfully advanced seven cases to the investigation stage in 2025.
In its asset recovery efforts, the agency also saved state financial losses amounting to Rp803,738,000 during the investigation phase, in addition to resolving 81 Execution cases (TPK and TPKL).
Of the seven cases handled during the investigation phase, four were a series of alleged corruption cases involving Waste Transportation and Management Services at the South Tangerang City Environment and Sanitation Agency (DLHK) in 2024.
This case, which was transferred to Phase II (Supply of Suspects and Evidence) on August 11, 2025, allegedly involved suspects SR, YM, WY, LM, TAKP, and ZY, with state losses totaling Rp21,682,959,360.
Furthermore, the Banten High Prosecutor’s Office is also focusing on three other corruption cases still under investigation, namely alleged corruption in the procurement of Dynamometer Cars.
For the Serpong Agricultural Mechanization Development Center Testing Laboratory, Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of Indonesia, Fiscal Year 2021.
And two cases related to alleged corruption in the sale of bulk cooking oil between PT Agrobisnis Banten Mandiri (ABM) and PT Karyacipta Agromandiri Nusantara (KAN) in 2025.
“In one of the cases, AAW and his associates have been named as suspects,” he stated.
