The Muara Village Government held the third village-level Quran Recitation Selection (STQ) event at the Persemu soccer field in Muara Village, Teluknaga District, Tangerang Regency, on Sunday (November 9, 2025).

The STQ event was a competition part of the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) competition.

It aimed to encourage Muslims to read, study, and practice the virtues contained in the Quran, as well as to strengthen ties among fellow Muslims.

Muara Village Head HM. Syarifudin expressed his gratitude to the Teluknaga Sub-district Head, the Teluknaga Police Chief, who was represented by the Teluknaga Military District Command (Koramil).

Religious leaders, community leaders, the Head of the Teluknaga Sub-district Supervision and Supervision Section, and the invited guests.

“This STQ activity is certainly seeking a young generation who understands the Quran and explores the noble values ​​​​of the Quran and makes them a guide for life, especially for young men and women and for all of us,” he explained.

Syarif hopes that in the future, Muara Village can win the MTQ competition at the sub-district, regency, provincial, and even national levels.

As previously, Muara Village won first place in the Binwil competition at the Tangerang Regency level.

“Hopefully, this STQ activity will produce a generation of talented male and female students, and of course, we will include them in the MTQ at the Teluknaga sub-district level first.

If they win, they will advance to the regency level and beyond,” he said.

The opening of the third STQ in Muara Village began with remarks from the Teluknaga Sub-district Head, Kurnia.

He said, “Praise be to Allah SWT, today we can gather together for the third STQ event in Muara Village.”

“I am proud of Muara Village, which previously won the overall champion of the Tangerang Regency Regional Development (BinWil) competition.

This achievement has brought good name to Muara Village and the Teluknaga District Government,” he concluded.
