To commemorate the 61st National Health Day, the Tangerang Regency Government, through the Health Office, held a Car Free Day (CFD) event, which was combined with the TOSS TB (Find, Treat, Until Cured) campaign.
The event was officially opened by the Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah, accompanied by several regional officials.
Healthcare workers and hundreds of residents enthusiastically participated in the event at the Tangerang Regency Government Center on Sunday (November 9, 2025).
In her remarks, Deputy Regent Intan stated that this event was an important momentum.
To raise public awareness of the dangers of tuberculosis (TB) and its prevention efforts.
She emphasized that the Tangerang Regency Government is fully committed to supporting the national TB elimination program by 2030, emphasizing the spirit of “Healthy Generation, Great Future.”
“TB is not just a matter for healthcare workers, but a responsibility for all of us.
Let’s work together to find, treat, and ensure a cure,” said Deputy Regent Intan.
On that occasion, she also emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration in realizing a Tangerang Regency.

According to data from the Health Office, in 2024, 12,391 TB cases (90.9%) were recorded out of an estimated 13,625 cases.
Meanwhile, by October 2025, 11,255 cases (95%) had been detected out of an estimated 11,881 cases.
The achievement of TB preventive therapy (TPT) also showed a positive trend, with 8,939 cases (67%) out of an estimated 13,313.
Demonstrating the local government’s strong commitment to improving services and actively detecting cases in the community.
“Through the Car Free Day and TOSS TB campaign, the Tangerang Regency Government hopes that the public will become more aware of their own health and the health of their environment.

designed so that people exercising in the CFD area could also receive basic health checks.
“We encourage the public to actively participate in screenings and health checks at the nearest Community Health Center (Puskesmas).
Early detection is key to preventing infectious diseases like TB,” he said.
In addition to physical activities and health checks, the TOSS TB campaign also included educational sessions for the community.
They discussed the importance of recognizing TB symptoms early and provided information that TB treatment is available free of charge at government health facilities.
The Health Department also opened a health information and consultation booth, which was busy with visitors.
