Excavation of PLN cables on the Tanah Merah-Sepatan Market road, Pondok Jaya Village, Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, caused a long traffic jam on Sunday (July 27th).

The excavation company made no effort to regulate traffic, resulting in a long traffic jam.

The traffic jam stretched from the intersection at the Sepatan District Office to Tanah Merah, causing severe congestion. Law enforcement officials failed to enforce traffic control.

“We demand that the relevant authorities impose sanctions on the PLN cable excavation project,” said Sisan (45), riding a black NMAX motorcycle passing by.

According to Sisan, “I’ve been observing this from morning until evening, and there’s not a single officer directing the traffic jam.”

“Sorry, sir, we’re not here to regulate traffic; there are other officers regulating traffic,” said a worker at the Tanah Merah intersection near the elementary school.
